Name: mean high water (15.4 feet, modeled from 2013 lidar)
Display Field: Elevation
Type: Feature Layer
Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolyline
Description: This shapefile represents the mean high water level of the Juneua study area based on LiDAR-derived surface elevation data of the Juneau LiDAR dataset. The horizontal datum for this dataset is NAD83(2011), the vertical datum is NAVD88, Geoid 12a (Adjusted to MLLW* see use limitations), and the data is projected in Alaska State Plane Zone 1. Horizontal units are in US Survey Feet and vertical units are in US Survey Feet. WSI collected the Juneau LiDAR dataset for the City and Borough of Juneau between 05/08/2013 - 06/11/2013.
Description: This shapefile represents the water's edge breaklines of the Juneau LiDAR study area. Water boundary polygons were developed using an algorithm which weights LiDAR-derived slopes, intensities, and return densities to detect the water's edge. Elevation values were then assigned to the water's edge line from the LiDAR data. The breaklines were enforced in the hydroflattened bare earth model. The horizontal datum for this dataset is NAD83(2011), the vertical datum is NAVD88, Geoid 12a (Adjusted to MLLW* see use limitations), and it is projected in Alaska State Plane Zone 1. Horizontal units are in US Survey Feet and vertical units are in US Survey Feet. WSI collected the Juneau LiDAR data for the City and Borough of Juneau between 05/08/2013 - 06/11/2013.
